High-quality translations punctually

I have graduated as a Master of Arts in English translation and interpretation, and I have worked as a full-time translator since 1990. My own translation business has been operating since 1996. I have done translations in the fields of technology, business and law in particular. In total, my work experience covers about 9,500 Finnish to English and English to Finnish translation assignments, almost exclusively for corporate clients. Some of my regular customers have used my services since the early 1990s. I have done a vast majority of the translations from Finnish to English. If necessary, I use a native editor to review the language in English translations.

In some cases, the scopes of my translation assignments have extended to several hundred pages of text. The translation has been done in many instances in a very tight timeframe due to the customer’s schedule, and I am accustomed to working flexibly and with fast delivery times if necessary.

I am an authorised translator registered by the National Board of Education in language pairs Finnish to English and English to Finnish. I have made a total of more than 1,000 authorised translations.

The translation tools used by me since 2014 to support the translation work include Wordfast Classic and Wordfast Pro. I have been a member of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL) since 1990.

English interpretation

I have about 1,000 hours of interpretation experience, mainly from interpretation assignments by different authorities. I have done English public service interpreting mostly for municipal authorities since 2010. I have also served as an interpreter in District Court and Court of Appeal, Finnish Customs and various outpatient departments of hospitals, among others.
